Bead strands help enormously to keep track of numbers without having to count in our head, thus freeing us up for deep prayer and contemplation.  But proper rosaries as well as longer chaplets can be too much to handle, depending on the situation.  This is where our shorter bead strands come in!

This 10-plus-1 knotted Prayer Bead Strand features eleven 8mm stainless steel beads.  They are separated from each other by one knot, making for an easy transition from one bead to another. The last bead is separated by two knots instead of one to mark the end of the set of 10. The smooth, heavy stainless steel beads contrast pleasantly with the knots.  The upper end of the string is looped so your bead string does not slip out of your hands easily.

This prayer bead strand has a masculine aesthetic to it due to the OD Green Type III paracord it is strung on.  Get it wet, get it dirty, it matters little: Both stainless steel and paracord are easily cleaned and dried.

Bead strands can also help counting strokes with the discipline without having to concentrate on the counting. This bead strand is designed to count the typical Christian set of 10 Ave Marias and 1 Pater Noster as common in the Rosary and many chaplets.
