Mortification of the flesh goes hand in hand with prayer. We found praying the Rosary or the Divine Mercy Chaplet particularly helpful during penitential practices, and therefore put together a meditative aid that is easy to handle: One-Decade Rosary Beads.
The new CordsOfPenance One-Decade Rosary Beads, also known as ‘Tenners’, consist of 11 beads (one for the Pater Noster, ten for the Ave Marias) and a St. Benedict Crucifix. They are available on off-white cotton cord or OD Green Type III paracord, with either spruce-wood beads or stainless-steel beads. The end is looped for easy attachment. The silver oxidized St. Benedict Crucifix measures 1 1/2″ in height. In the pictures you can see both front and back.
