We now offer Disciplinas with sisal grips dyed in blood red. The falls are either made from sisal also, or from pure hemp rope.
As a liturgical color red symbolizes fire, blood, and martyrdom. It is therefore the color of Passion time and Pentecost. Red is also worn on feast days of martyrs.
